Spark your curiosity at the Museum of Science and Industry! Join Mayor Lightfoot as she explores one of the world’s largest science museums. The MSI, which opened its doors in 1933, was designed to inspire children by bringing science to life. See for yourself why asking questions can teach you how the world works.
The Museum of Science and Industry is our next destination. Highlights of our whirlwind trip include: exploring the transformation of energy using yoga balls, golf balls and rubber bands; learning about avalanches and tornadoes at the Science Storm exhibit; touring the Wanger Family Fab Lab to see 3D printers make masks and face shields; and watching the model trains make their way from downtown Chicago to Seattle. We’ve made it fun for families to learn together. Check out our activities for all ages and abilities. Use the hashtag #StayHomeHitPlay to share your creations.
